About Me

I am a technical writer and former software engineer.

A few years into my engineering career, I found myself drawn to documentation work: structuring information, clarifying complexity, and making things make sense.

In 2024, I transitioned fully to technical writing and content engineering, where I currently work on building documentation and systems that support it. I bring an engineering mindset to my work, with an emphasis on automation, docs-as-code, and using AI to rethink content creation, delivery and maintenance.

Experience

Technical Writer

Kognitos

Owned and managed the product documentation site for a Series A AI automation platform, building and maintaining user docs, API references, SDK documentation, and weekly release notes. Implemented docs-as-code workflows with Git and Markdown, automated documentation pipelines using CI/CD and GitHub Actions (linting, spellcheck, and guide generation), and partnered with engineering, product, and design to standardize terminology and improve UX clarity.

Software Engineer

Amplify

Advanced the development of six microservice applications on an agile, back-end team. I engineered several APIs using the FastAPI and Serverless frameworks with Python. I implemented documentation-as-code practices in Swagger, authored 1EdTech certification process documentation, and expanded team resources with software tutorials, feature documentation, and knowledge base resources.

Software Engineer

CureMetrix

Collaborated with research, product, and regulatory teams to develop four medical CAD AI software products for mammography analysis. I optimized Python scripts for production, consolidated over 30 raw scripts into four packages for DICOM image processing, and coauthored SOPs, while also creating detailed LucidChart diagrams to support FDA submissions.

Junior Software Engineer

Kazuhm

As a junior software engineer, I participated in code reviews and daily scrums to enhance collaboration and maintain code quality. I worked with senior developers to containerize Python applications with Docker, enabling student density monitoring on a campus via Raspberry Pi devices during COVID-19.

Education

B.A. Computer Science

CUNY Hunter College

Focus on software engineering with a minor in sociology. Completed a senior capstone project focused on creating a tool that translates American Sign Language (ASL) into written English, improving communication accessibility for the deaf and hard of hearing.
